
recently, I had a cold that persisted for about 2 weeks. The cold wasn’t serious but it definitely slowed me down. I started to make this ginger soup for myself twice a day, for about 3 days total. It really made me feel better, and it helped to kick my cold.
This is tradition Chinese herbal medicine therapy. It cured millions of people’s colds throughout Chinese history. I hope this can help yours if you need it.
Ingredient: Ginger (A chunk the size of your thumb), 4 tbsp brown sugar, 2 cups of water, some scallions (only the white part).
1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
2. Cut ginger in to large slices. Cook ginger and scallions in the boiled water.
3. When the water reduces to about a cup, add brown sugar. Stir until all brown sugar dissolved.
Drink while hot.

3. 兩杯水煮至一杯.加入紅糖.拌勻

hi, I wonder why some say to use red sugar and some say to use white crystal sugar cube or hopney,
what’s the difference? Is it still affective if we make this soup without sweetening?
