Three Cups chicken 三杯雞

This is another popular dish that no one could ever complain about.

Ingredients: Chicken (legs, breasts, or wings), basil, 3 tbsp sesame oil, 1 cup of cooking wine, 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1tsp of sugar, 2 cup of water,5 big slices of ginger.

1. Heat up the sesame oil and cook the ginger until fragrant.
2. Brown the chicken, then add soy sauce, sugar and water.
3. Lower heat, cover with lid and cook for about 30 min. Add cooking wine and cook until liquid reduces.
4. Taste the broth; if too salty, add more water and cook for another 15 mins.
5. Stir basil in with the chicken.

Serve while hot. Enjoy the tastiest Three Cups chicken ever.

三杯雞. 冬天進補好配方

食材: 薑片 (一些). 雞肉 (胸.腿.翅接可). 麻油3大匙.醬油半杯.1杯酒.一些九層塔.1大匙糖.2杯水.

1.用麻油將薑片爆香
2.雞肉進鍋翻炒後.加醬油.糖.水加蓋.小火.悶煮約30分鐘
3.酒到入鍋中.煮至湯減少
4.嚐一下湯.太鹹就再加水或糖.再煮15分鐘
5.將九層塔拌入鍋中
