Lasagna 千層意大利麵

I did everything from scratch including the sauce. This way, I am totally in control of the flavor.
Sauce:
- 2 cans of tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp of chopped garlic
- 3 tbsp of chopped cilantro
- 1 small yellow onion (chopped)
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 2 cups sliced mushroom
- 1/2 cup of red wine
- 1 tsp of sugar
- some salt and pepper (as desired)
- olive oil
- Stir fry garlic and onion in oil until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce, red wine, sugar and salt.
- Cook until the tomato sauce boils. Add mushrooms, cilantro and basil. Cover and cook until mushrooms soften.
Lasagna (About 6 servings)
- Pasta sauce from above
- 2 eggs
- 16 oz. Ricotta cheese
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 cups+ 1/2 cups of shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups+ 1/2 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 box of no-boil Lasagna noodles
- some ground chicken or turkey
- Mix Ricotta cheese with eggs, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese.
- Add some sauce in a 9X9 baking dish and place noodles on the bottom.
- Add 1/4 of Ricotta mixture, Mozzarella and chicken on top of the noodle.
- Pour some sauce on top of the mixture and place another layer of noodles on top.
- Repeat this until all of the Ricotta mixture is used.
- Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese on the top.
- Bake at 400° for 45 minutes and cover with foil.
- Bake for another 15 minutes.

好好吃…不過不是很容易就是了.
- 一罐意大利麵醬.
- 兩顆蛋
- 一罐Riccota起司
- 鹽. 黑糊椒
- 1 1/2杯+ 1/2杯Parmesan 起司
- 1 1/2杯+1/2杯 Mozzarella 起司
- 1盒免煮意大利千層麵
- 一些絞肉(如果不吃素的話)
- 一些蘑菇切片
- 先把Riccota起司. 蛋. 鹽. 黑糊椒 1 1/2 杯Parmesan 起司攪拌在一起.
- 一正方烤盤中底先加一點意大利麵醬.
- 然後把意大利千層麵排好在盤中(一層就好)
- 麵上放1/4的起司醬(步驟一.) 然後加一點意大利麵醬及Mozzarella 起司.有肉或蘑菇也可以家一點.
- 這樣重復步驟3跟4.
- 直到沒有材料為止(麵剩了沒關係)
- 最後把剩的1/2杯Parmesan 起司跟Mozzarella 起司灑在最上面.
- 烤190度. 45分後.蓋上錫箔紙. 再烤1小時
Chicken Parmesan 義大利起司烤雞肉

Easy but delicious.
- 4-5 pieces of chicken breast
- Italian bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese
- 2 cup of pasta sauce
- oil
- Coat chicken with bread crumbs
- Pan fry in oil until chicken is cooked
- Pour pasta sauce and all cheese on top of chicken
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes

- 4-5片雞肉
- 麵包粉 (加鹽. 蝴椒. 九層塔…等條味)
- 油
- 1 1/2杯Parmesan 起司
- 1 1/2 杯 Mozzarella 起司
- 2 杯意大利麵醬
- 用麵包粉裹雞肉. 然後在鍋中煎熟.
- 將意大利麵醬. 起司倒在雞肉上.
- 烤箱烤180度. 20-30分鐘就好了.
配意大利麵. 粉好吃歐!
肉可以換. 換羊肉也很好吃.
Baked Veggie pasta 烤蔬菜意大利麵

This could be vegetarian dish or not if you want meat in it.
- 1 cup of chopped red onion
- 1 tsp of chopped garlic
- 3 cups of chopped carrots
- 2 cups of chopped zucchini
- 2-3 servings of cooked pasta
- 1 cup of white wine
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 tbsp of flour
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- meat (if desired)
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup of chicken stock or vegetable stock
- 1/2 cup of Romano cheese
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
- Fry red onion and garlic in a pan with oil until fragrant.
- Add meat if desired. Add salt and pepper at this time as well.
- Add white wine and chicken stock. Add all vegetables and cover. Cook until softened.
- Add milk. Stir constantly. Add flour. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Mix the sauce with cooked pasta and add some Romano cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

- 加牛奶. 不電攪拌. 再加入麵粉. 一直煮. 主到湯汁變濃.
- 把醬. 熟的意大利麵和起司拌勻.
- 倒入烤盤烤180度. 15分.
Zucchini Bread (Fixed) 青瓜麵包

The First post of this had two mistakes in the ingredients. I hope nobody tried it out as is.
This is the best Zucchini bread recipes that I got from Mrs. Southworth. (My friend’s mom)
It is so delicious.
(Make about 2 loaves)
- 2 cups of coarsely grated zucchini
- 2 cups of flour
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of oil
- 1 tbsp of vanilla
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup of chopped walnut or raisins (optional)
- Beat eggs until frothy. Mix in sugar, oil and vanilla
- beat until mixture is thick and lemon-colored. Stir in Zucchini.
- Add cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and flour. Mix well.
- Mix all remaining ingredients and bake at 350° F for1 hour or until done.
這美國的青瓜我不愛吃. 不過做出來的點心到粉好吃歐
- 2杯青瓜絲
- 3顆蛋
- 3 杯糖
- 1杯油
- 1大匙香草精
- 1 大匙肉桂粉
- 2匙蘇打粉
- 1/2 匙泡打粉
- 1 杯葡萄乾或核桃
- 將蛋打到變淡黃
- 加剩下所有的材料
- 在抹油的烤盤中烤190度. 約1小時
共做兩條青瓜麵包
Pork Chop and Rice 豬排飯

This is a purely American style of pork chop and rice.
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 4-6 thick slice of pork chop
- 1 1/2 cups of uncooked rice
- 1/2 bag of onion soup mix
- 1 1/2 cup of water
- In a skillet, brown both sides of pork chop for 5 minutes.
- Mix all other ingredient together in a deep baking pan.
- place pork chop on top and in bake at 400F for 1 hr or until the rice is cooked.
這真的是美國人的懶人食物. 很方便.
- 一罐奶油蘑菇湯罐頭
- 一罐奶油雞湯罐頭
- 4-6 片豬排
- 1 1/2 杯生米
- 1/2包洋蔥湯粉
- 1 1/2 杯水
- 先將豬排煎一下
- 將所有食材混合. 到入深烤盤中.
- 烤 200度. 1 小時. 或等到米熟後.
Beer Bread 黑啤酒麵包

My beer bread is awesome. Trust me, it will be the best bread you ever have.
Bread:
- 1 cup of dark beer (warm)
- 1 1/2 tbsp of oil
- 2 3/4 cup of flour
- 1/8 cup of sugar
- 2 tsp of yeast
- 3/4 tsp of salt
Dipping
- 2 tbsp of butter (softened)
- 1 tbsp of honey
- Carefully measure all ingredients into a bread machine. Set bread machine on normal loaf setting.
- Mix dipping sauce ingredients. Serve bread while hot with dipping sauce.
這真的不是我在蓋的好吃. 試了就知道
麵包:
- 1 杯啤酒 (黑啤酒較加)
- 1 1/2 匙油
- 2 3/4杯麵粉
- 1/8杯糖
- 2 匙酵母
- 3/4匙鹽
沾醬:
- 2大匙軟化奶油
- 1大匙蜂蜜
- 將所有材料小心量好. 加入麵包機中. 設定一般麵包設定.
- 蜂蜜加奶油混合後. 熱麵包沾奶油吃…好好好好吃歐.
Meat Loaf 肉筒 ($12.49 for Four to Five)

This is my take on the home style classic.
- 2 Lbs Ground Turkey ($ 6)
- 1 cup cooked rice (prox. $o.5)
- 1 cup dry oatmeal (prox. $ 1)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (prox. $ 1)
- 3 or more eggs ($1)
- 1 can tomato sauce ($0.89)
- 2 cloves of garlic (chopped) (prox.$ o.2)
- half of a medium onion (finely chopped) (prox. $ o.4)
- a handful of cilantro and basil (chopped) ( prox. $ o.5)
- A splash of olive oil ( prox. $ o.3)
- salt and pepper (prox. $0.3)
- ketchup (prox. $ o.4)
Total $ 12.49 for four~ five
- Soft boil one or more of the eggs, peel and set aside.
- Sautee the garlic, and onion in a little olive oil until slightly brown.
- Add tomato sauce and herbs and stir until blended. Add salt and pepper as desired.
- In a large mixing bowl mix turkey, rice, oatmeal, bread crumbs, 2 eggs, tomato sauce and extra salt an pepper if desired. The resulting mixture should be relatively firm, but quite moist. If too dry, add more liquid (e.g. ketchup). If too wet, add more bread crumbs.
- Add a thin layer of meat to the bottom of a baking pan. Place soft boiled egg(s) and cover with remaining meat.
- Top will a little more ketchup and bake at 350° for about an hour.
- When meatloaf is done, you can serve it straight up, on a sandwich, or even as a pizza topping.

- 2 磅雞攪肉 (比較不膩. 不然牛也可以)
- 1 杯飯
- 1 杯即食燕麥片
- 1 杯麵包粉
- 3 -4 顆蛋
- 1 罐蕃茄義大利麵醬
- 2 片大蒜 (切碎)
- 1/2 顆中等大洋蔥 (切碎)
- 一些香菜. 九層塔
- 一些油
- 鹽. 糊椒
- 蕃茄醬
- 煮1-2 顆水煮蛋. 剝皮
- 蒜頭. 洋蔥在油中. 炒一下
- 加蕃茄義大利麵醬. 香菜. 九層塔.鹽. 糊椒於鍋中. 稍煮一下
- 大碗中. 雞攪肉. 飯. 即食燕麥片. 麵包粉. 2顆蛋. 和鍋中的醬汁全混合
- 深烤盤中.抹油. 先倒一層肉在裡面. 放上水煮蛋. 然後把剩的肉蓋上.
- 上面澆一些蕃茄醬. 烤 190度. 約1 小時.
- 另可以做成三明治啦. 義大利麵啦. 批薩上啦.
Coffee Cake 咖啡蛋糕

Well, most of the time, coffee cake does not have coffee in it. But I say, why not??!!
- 3 eggs (separated)
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/3 cup of oil
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup of espresso coffee
- 4 tbsp of powdered milk
- Beat the egg whites until fluffy and stiff.
- In another bowl, beat the egg yolks until light yellow. Slowly add 1/4 cup of sugar.
- Mix hot espresso with remaining sugar and powdered milk; slowly pour into the egg yolks. Stir constantly.
- Add oil, flour, baking powder to the egg yolk mix.
- Fold egg whites in to the mixture slowly and carefully.
- Pour into a non-stick cake pan and bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until a fork comes out clean.
咖啡蛋糕…粉好吃. 雖然它不是很漂亮. 但是卻真的很幼咪咪.
- 3 顆蛋(黃白分開)
- 1/2 杯糖
- 1/3 杯油
- 1/2 杯麵粉
- 1 匙泡打粉
- 1/3 杯超濃咖啡
- 4 大匙奶粉
- 一碗中. 把蛋白打泡.
- 另一碗. 蛋黃打到變淺黃色. 加入1/4杯糖.
- 超濃咖啡和.剩下的糖及奶粉混勻. 小心的加入蛋黃中.(要不段攪拌)
- 加油. 麵粉. 泡打粉至蛋黃中.
- 把蛋白小姐的拌入蛋白麵粉中.
- 將麵糊倒入不沾的蛋糕烤盤中. 烤180度. 25分鐘. 或等到筷子插入. 不沾為止.
Bacon Roast Pork 烤培根豬肉捲

- 1/2 lb pork loin
- 5-6 strips of bacon
- salt & pepper
- 2 cups of soy sauce
- stab the pork loin several times and marinate it with soy sauce over night.
- wrap bacon around the pork loin and sprinkle with some salt and pepper.
- bake the pork with its marinade at 375°F oven for 1 hr.
- 半磅豬瘦肉
- 5-6條培根
- 鹽.糊椒
- 2杯醬油
- 在豬肉上切一些傷口. 然後用醬油醃一晚
- 用培根把豬肉完全包起來. 上面灑一點鹽及糊椒.
- 將豬肉跟醃漬醬油放在一起
- 進烤箱烤195度. 約1小時
Jelly Roll Cake 蛋糕捲

- 1/3 cup of milk
- 1/3 cup of sugar (for egg yolks) & 2 1/2 tbsp of sugar (for egg whites)
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 4 eggs (yolk and white separate)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 cup of jam
- beat yolks, oil, milk and 1/3 cup of sugar together until the batter turns light yellow.
- add flour and baking powder.
- in another bowl, beat the egg white until fluffy and add 2 1/2 tbsp of sugar slowly.
- combine both bowls and mix carefully.
- spray the mixture in a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
- allow the cake to sit for 10-15 minutes. Spread the jam evenly on top of the cake and roll up the cake carefully.
- cut the cake into pieces.
上面是魚頭的蛋糕捲捲法. 真的比我的笨silicon 捲好像好很多很多.
所以想來跟大家分享一下. 而且她還做抹茶跟咖啡口味的.
光想我就等不急要做了.

蛋糕捲. 好好吃歐
- 1/3杯鮮奶
- 1/3 杯糖 (蛋黃用) 2 1/2 大匙糖 (蛋白用)
- 1/4 杯油
- 4顆蛋 (白跟黃分開)
- 1/2 匙泡打粉
- 1/2 杯麵粉
- 1 杯果醬
- 一大碗中. 將蛋黃. 油. 奶. 及 1/3 杯糖打在一起. 直到變淡黃色.
- 然後加入麵粉和泡打粉. 拌勻.
- 另一碗. 將蛋白打到起泡變硬. 再一面打. 一面加糖.
- 將兩碗材料混合. 小心拌勻
- 烤盤上抹油. 將麵糊倒在烤盤上. 進烤箱烤 180度. 25分鐘
- 讓烤好的蛋糕稍楊涼一下. 然後把果醬平均塗在蛋糕上. 捲起來.
- 將蛋糕切塊.
