Thanksgiving Turkey 2008 感恩節火雞

Home Style Traditon Thanksgiving Turkey
- 12 lb turnkey
- dry basil leafs flakes
- red chili flakes
- dry cilantro flakes
- 2 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 onion peel and cut in half
- 1 orange
- garlic salt
- ground black pepper
- 3 days before the Turkey day, sprinkle turkey with basil leafs, chili flakes, cilantro, garlic, garlic salt, and black pepper.
- the day of serving, squeeze orange juice on turkey. Stuffed orange and onion in the center of the turkey.
- place a bowl of water in the oven.
- bake 375 F for 3 hours or until turkey is fully cooked.
After the turkey is fully cooked, allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes before serving.
Tomato Chicken Stew 燉蕃茄雞肉

- 1 can of corn
- 1 can of chopped tomato
- 5 cups of chicken stock
- 6-10 chicken drum stick
- 1 long hot pepper (chopped)
- 1 bay leaf
- 5 cups of water
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can of tomato paste
- salt, pepper
- Place everything into a crock pot.
- Set to low heat for 8 hours or high for 5 hours.
- Enjoy the delicious tomato stew. Serve on top of rice and/or bread.
Great for cold, busy winter.
Thanksgiving meal 2008 感恩節大餐 (Gravy recipe)

Gravy Recipe
- 2 cups of turkey broth
- 3 tbsp of flour
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 cup of sliced mushroom
- 1 dice onion
- salt, pepper
- Pour turkey broth into a sauce pan.
- Add onion and mushroom. Cover with lid. Cook until all vegetables are soften.
- Stir in milk and flour. Cook until boil.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
我跟雷先生決定今年感恩節那都不去.
兩人自己在家做一頓大餐.
自己吃. 然後兩人自己好好休息個幾天.
好久沒好好休息了.
今年的感恩節有很多要感謝的.
第一. 要感謝上帝讓我們大家都有心理遇備的情況下. 把奶奶帶走了. 讓奶奶在天堂好好享福. 而我們在世的人也都有得到安慰.
第二. 要感謝上帝讓我跟雷先生在世界經濟這麼不好的情況下. 工作還算穩定. 感謝主讓我們今年比去年好. 也求主讓我們明年比今年好.
第三. 感謝主讓我的家人都健康.滿足.平安.祥和.
第四. 要感謝上帝讓我跟雷先生能和我齊心一起為我們的未來努力. 也希望上帝能讓雷先生認識它. 有一天. 我們能在主裡齊心.
接下來這一年. 有很多事是要求主帶領的. 希望明年感恩節. 我能在這裡一一感謝.
Southern Chicken Pot Pie 雞肉派

雞肉派
- 2杯煮熟的雞肉(撕碎)
- 1 杯紅蘿蔔丁
- 1杯芹菜丁
- 1杯蘑菇丁
- 2大匙麵粉
- 1/2杯全脂奶
- 1 包泡浮脆皮
- 油
- 碎蒜少許
- 融化奶油少許
- 2杯雞湯
- 黑糊椒. 鹽
- 先將碗抹油. 然後將泡浮脆皮鋪在碗中
- 炒菜鍋中. 將蒜爆香. 加入雞湯. 蔬菜. 及肉.煮至全熟.
- 加入奶. 滾後. 用黑糊椒. 鹽條味.
- 一面攪動雞肉料. 一面將麵粉拌入.
- 麵粉均勻後. 將料倒入泡浮脆皮碗中.
- 餡料上方. 再用泡浮脆皮蓋起來.
- 泡浮脆皮表面刷上融化奶油
- 烤350度. 1 小時.
超好吃的. 真的….超級好吃.
Rice noodle soup 台式米粉湯

最近一個人吃飯. 又懶又沒時間.
所以自己做這簡單米粉湯
- 絞肉一些
- 醬油
- 紅蔥頭
- 米粉一些
- 雞湯塊少許
- 青菜
- 蒜頭丁少許
- 油
- 麻油
- 糖少許
- 一油鍋. 先將蒜爆香
- 加入肉. 麻油. 糖. 雞湯塊條味.
- 加入水. 紅蔥頭. 煮到滾
- 加入米粉. 青菜.
就好了.
簡單的台式米粉湯
Caper Chicken pasta

- 1 tbsp of Capers
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of white wine
- 1 cup of chopped mushroom
- 1 cup of flour
- some salt, pepper
- oil
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- 1 cup of chicken stock
- Coat the chicken with flower and pan fry it until cooked. Place the chicken in a plate.
- Fry the chopped onion in the pan until fragrant and add capers, mushrooms, white wine and chicken stock. Allow the broth to boil for 10-15 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper as desired and add chicken back into the pot.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Mix in cooked pasta or serve on top of rice.
Lasagna 千層意大利麵

I did everything from scratch including the sauce. This way, I am totally in control of the flavor.
Sauce:
- 2 cans of tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp of chopped garlic
- 3 tbsp of chopped cilantro
- 1 small yellow onion (chopped)
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 2 cups sliced mushroom
- 1/2 cup of red wine
- 1 tsp of sugar
- some salt and pepper (as desired)
- olive oil
- Stir fry garlic and onion in oil until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce, red wine, sugar and salt.
- Cook until the tomato sauce boils. Add mushrooms, cilantro and basil. Cover and cook until mushrooms soften.
Lasagna (About 6 servings)
- Pasta sauce from above
- 2 eggs
- 16 oz. Ricotta cheese
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 cups+ 1/2 cups of shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups+ 1/2 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 box of no-boil Lasagna noodles
- some ground chicken or turkey
- Mix Ricotta cheese with eggs, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese.
- Add some sauce in a 9X9 baking dish and place noodles on the bottom.
- Add 1/4 of Ricotta mixture, Mozzarella and chicken on top of the noodle.
- Pour some sauce on top of the mixture and place another layer of noodles on top.
- Repeat this until all of the Ricotta mixture is used.
- Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese on the top.
- Bake at 400° for 45 minutes and cover with foil.
- Bake for another 15 minutes.

好好吃…不過不是很容易就是了.
- 一罐意大利麵醬.
- 兩顆蛋
- 一罐Riccota起司
- 鹽. 黑糊椒
- 1 1/2杯+ 1/2杯Parmesan 起司
- 1 1/2杯+1/2杯 Mozzarella 起司
- 1盒免煮意大利千層麵
- 一些絞肉(如果不吃素的話)
- 一些蘑菇切片
- 先把Riccota起司. 蛋. 鹽. 黑糊椒 1 1/2 杯Parmesan 起司攪拌在一起.
- 一正方烤盤中底先加一點意大利麵醬.
- 然後把意大利千層麵排好在盤中(一層就好)
- 麵上放1/4的起司醬(步驟一.) 然後加一點意大利麵醬及Mozzarella 起司.有肉或蘑菇也可以家一點.
- 這樣重復步驟3跟4.
- 直到沒有材料為止(麵剩了沒關係)
- 最後把剩的1/2杯Parmesan 起司跟Mozzarella 起司灑在最上面.
- 烤190度. 45分後.蓋上錫箔紙. 再烤1小時
Chicken Parmesan 義大利起司烤雞肉

Easy but delicious.
- 4-5 pieces of chicken breast
- Italian bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese
- 2 cup of pasta sauce
- oil
- Coat chicken with bread crumbs
- Pan fry in oil until chicken is cooked
- Pour pasta sauce and all cheese on top of chicken
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes

- 4-5片雞肉
- 麵包粉 (加鹽. 蝴椒. 九層塔…等條味)
- 油
- 1 1/2杯Parmesan 起司
- 1 1/2 杯 Mozzarella 起司
- 2 杯意大利麵醬
- 用麵包粉裹雞肉. 然後在鍋中煎熟.
- 將意大利麵醬. 起司倒在雞肉上.
- 烤箱烤180度. 20-30分鐘就好了.
配意大利麵. 粉好吃歐!
肉可以換. 換羊肉也很好吃.
Baked Veggie pasta 烤蔬菜意大利麵

This could be vegetarian dish or not if you want meat in it.
- 1 cup of chopped red onion
- 1 tsp of chopped garlic
- 3 cups of chopped carrots
- 2 cups of chopped zucchini
- 2-3 servings of cooked pasta
- 1 cup of white wine
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 tbsp of flour
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- meat (if desired)
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup of chicken stock or vegetable stock
- 1/2 cup of Romano cheese
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
- Fry red onion and garlic in a pan with oil until fragrant.
- Add meat if desired. Add salt and pepper at this time as well.
- Add white wine and chicken stock. Add all vegetables and cover. Cook until softened.
- Add milk. Stir constantly. Add flour. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Mix the sauce with cooked pasta and add some Romano cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

- 加入白酒和雞湯. 和所有的蔬菜. 加蓋. 煮至軟.
- 加牛奶. 不電攪拌. 再加入麵粉. 一直煮. 主到湯汁變濃.
- 把醬. 熟的意大利麵和起司拌勻.
- 倒入烤盤烤180度. 15分.
Quick Lunch Box 快速午餐 ($4.4 for Two)

Delicious, cheap and quick. What else can you ask for?
- 2 cups of ground chicken or pork ($2)
- some chopped carrots ($0.5)
- some green scallions ($ o.2)
- some chopped tree fungus (a Chinese ingredient, mushrooms if you can’t find it)
- 2 cups of cooked rice (prox. $o.4)
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce (prox. $0.3)
- 1/2 tsp sugar ( prox. $0.1)
- 1 tsp sesame oil (prox. $ 0.3)
- 3 tbsp of water (prox. $0.1)
- 1/2 tsp chopped garlic (prox. $ o.2)
- oil (prox. $0.3)
Total $4.4 for Two
- fry garlic in oil until fragrant.
- add pork, sesame oil and soy sauce. Cook until the pork is done.
- add carrots and water. Cover with lid, cook for 5 minutes.
- add fungus and scallions. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve on top of hot rice.
