Fall is coming. I am always busy during Fall and never had the chance to spend the time to drive out of city.

Now, since I don’t live in the city anymore, good view is everywhere.

Black Star Farm winery, inn and cafe.

If you decided to go visit the farm, I would suggest to get there around 11:30 ish, so it is less crowded in a summer weekend.
Go for the wine tasting first. It is five dollars, if you want you can buy some cheese sampler to go with your wine.

Right after the tasting, cross the path is their cafe.
Cafe serves some of the best food I have ever had. The first picture is their wild mushroom pizza.
The mushroom and the cheese are both local.

It is really a delightful plate of food. Everything goes perfectly well together.

I would recommend everyone to go for the fresh food and the wine tasting.
The farm offers good wine, good food and good view.

It is also children friendly. When it is a good day, the padding zoo is open.

Brubeck is 1 year and 6 months old now.
So he is actually an adult dog now.
For some reason all the sudden he started to eat 1 meal a day only.

I guess it save money…?!
Anyway, here is his recent pictures. He doesn’t seems looks much different when he was younger for some reason.

Spring…!!! Although this is not quite the time for sandals and tank tops yet, the views is definitely gettig more and more pleasant.

Birdys are back. Strange bugs are alive again, and Brubeck is finally old enough to be curious with things.
A behavior thing about small dog is they don’t realize how small they are and how big everything else are.

Over the weekend, Burbeck had his first real encounter with geese. He immediately decided to chase after them.
Geese are friendly animals, I believe. However, they are not nice at all when they have baby geese around, of course.

You can imagine a small crazy dog, barks at mother goose. Bad…bad…combination.

Luckily, I think mother goose also can tell Brubeck is a youngster. So the mother goose gave Brubeck a warning and than left with her baby.

Cape Cod has several really nice bike trails. Most of them are very scenic and easy to ride.
This is Shining Sea Bikeway. The trail is right next to the ocean.

It is very easy to ride when you are riding by following the wind direction.
Along the bike trail has almost no coverage, therefore, prepare sun screen during the summer.

Above is the Nickerson State Park bike trail.
During the hot season, this trail is must weather friendlier than others.

You can always drive to Nickerson State Park and park your car there.

The parking is an issue for the Shinning Sea Bikeway. If you go to the very beginning of the trail, you will find yourself have to pay big parking fees.
However, in just about 10 minutes car ride, there is a city lot. You can park there for free.

2 weeks ago was our anniversary, we went to Cape Cod and bike around in the trails.
Lobster house is a nice family restaurant right next to a doggy friendly hotel that we stayed at.

Very reasonable price with large portion.

Both are very delicious and most likely not healthy for you. ^_^

Seems like the spring is finally coming.
I am working on Spring picture cleaning.
Above is the storm hit Boston right after New Year, 2011.
We had about 2 feet of snow that day, and the entire winter we received about 100 feet of snow total.

Below is Burbeck trying to survive. He had a hard time to walk in the deep snow.
The snow was bad and tiring.
But nothing is more frustrating than Burbeck had trouble finding his pee spot.
Yep…I just said “pee”.
Here….he is looking for his golden spot.

And here…he is still looking…

下星期就是感恩節了.
一連好幾年公婆都來過節.
忙來忙去. 因為我公公有很多他的過節規舉.

今年. 因為終於我大姑有要回家過節. 所以我公婆沒時間來我們這了.
我跟雷先生終於可以自己兩人好好修息.
真的覺得最近忙的好累.

真的感謝很多事情.

也希望下一年一切都能順利
