Chinese BBQ 叉燒肉

This is easy. All you need is 2 days of marination. Other than that, the oven does all the work.
- 3 lbs pork loin
- 1 bottle of Chinese BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp of chopped garlic
- stab the pork couple of times. Marinate the pork in BBQ sauce and garlic for 2 days.
- baked at 375 °F degree oven for 1 hr.

This is a new thing for us. Taste great and is very economical.
- beet greens
- 2 strips of bacon
- salt, pepper
- some chicken broth
- chop the leaf into bit sized pieces. Cut the bacon into small pieces.
- fry the bacon in a pan until almost cooked. Add salt while cooking.
- add beet greens.
- add chicken broth, cover. Cook until stems soften.
- add salt and pepper as desired.

Chinese Bun 包子

I made these buns myself. ha…quite successful.
Dough:
- 2 cups of flour
- 3/4 cup of water (80°F)
- 1 tsp of yeast
- 1/2 tsp of salt
Filling:
- 1 egg
- 3 cups of chopped leeks
- 3 cups of ground pork
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 3 tbsp of sesame oil
- 1 tsp white pepper
- mix all ingredients together and leave the dough in a warm place for 1 hour.
- separate the dough into 8-10 different pieces. Use a rolling pin to flatten them into large circles.
- mix all filling ingredients together.
- place a spoon full of filling in the middle of each wrapper.
- fold the dough over the filling from all sides and pinch the edge of the wrapper until closed on the top.
- steam for 20-30 minutes.
Be careful, they can stick together.

皮:
- 2 杯麵粉
- 3/4 杯溫水

- 放一大匙在皮的中央.

Stir Fried Noodle 水餃餡炒麵

This is my new adventurous noodle. Tastes great and it’s easy.
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1tsp chopped garlic
- 1 cup chopped leeks
- 1 cup ground pork
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 cup black pepper sauce
- 1 serving Udon noodle
- Cook the noodles and rinse in cold water.
- fry the garlic in oil until fragrant, then stir the egg in.
- add pork, leeks, sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook until pork is done.
- Add noodles to the pan and pour pepper sauce on top. Stir and serve.

- 將餡料炒入
- 加麵於鍋中. 倒上黑糊椒醬. 拌勻

Bacon Roast Pork 烤培根豬肉捲

- 1/2 lb pork loin
- 5-6 strips of bacon
- salt & pepper
- 2 cups of soy sauce
- stab the pork loin several times and marinate it with soy sauce over night.
- wrap bacon around the pork loin and sprinkle with some salt and pepper.
- bake the pork with its marinade at 375°F oven for 1 hr.
- 半磅豬瘦肉
- 5-6條培根
- 鹽.糊椒
- 2杯醬油
- 在豬肉上切一些傷口. 然後用醬油醃一晚
- 用培根把豬肉完全包起來. 上面灑一點鹽及糊椒.
- 將豬肉跟醃漬醬油放在一起
- 進烤箱烤195度. 約1小時
Bacon Shrimp 培根包蝦

Any food with bacon involved is sure to be a hit.
- Bacon (One short slice for every Shrimp)
- Shrimp (peeled)
- salt, pepper
- cut bacon into small strips (enough to wrap around a single shrimp)
- wrap shrimp
- pan fry one side of shrimp until brown.
- sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Juicy, delicious bacon-wrapped shrimp is served.

My Grandma’s secret meat sauce 我外婆的秘密肉燥


This is my grandma’s famous signature meat sauce. It is wonderful.
- 2 cups of ground pork
- 2 cups of fish meat (swordfish)
- 2 cups of squid
- 1 cup of shallots (chopped)
- 1 cup of dried shrimp
- 1 cup of Chinese dried mushroom
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 1/4 cup of dried red onion
- 1 cup of soy sauce
- some sugar, sesame oil
- fry shallots in oil. Add dried shrimp. Cook until fragrant.
- add pork, fish and soy sauce.
- add dried red onion, squid and mushroom.
- add some sugar and sesame oil when all ingredients are cooked. (this could be salty, add water accordingly.)



我外婆好會做肉燥歐. 這種她做的肉燥好好吃. 拿來包粽子也很好.
- 2 杯豬絞肉
- 2 杯較硬的魚肉(切絲)
- 2 杯墨魚 (切絲)
- 1 杯紅蔥頭 (切丁)
- 1 杯蝦米
- 1 杯香菇(切絲)
- 1/4 杯油
- 1/4 杯油蔥酥
- 1 杯醬油
- 一些糖和麻油
- 油鍋將紅蔥頭. 蝦米一一爆香.
- 加豬絞肉. 魚肉和醬油. 都煮熟後
- 加所有剩下的食材
- 最後加一些糖和麻油.
如果太鹹可以多加點糖或水. 不過最重要的就是一開始的紅蔥頭要爆到夠香. 才加別的料.
Homemade Udon Noodle Soup 自製烏龍麵 ($1.4 for Two)

Homemade Udon noodles – in case you run out and you’ve got the jones for some udon.
- 3 cups of flour (prox. $0.8)
- 1 cup of water (prox.$0.2)
- some salt (prox. $0.1)
- a plastic bag (prox. $ o.3)
Total $1.4 for Two
- Mix water with flour and salt (some extra water might needed. Make sure the dough does not stick)
- Place the dough in plastic bag. Wait for 15 minutes
- Step on your dough repeatedly (yes, with your foot).
- Roll the dough flat
- Cut into thin, long strips
- Boil gently for a few minutes and add to your favorite soup.
You now have preservative-free, chewy, fresh Udon noodles.
自製烏龍麵. 方便. 又沒防腐劑
- 3杯麵粉
- 1杯水 (水量可能要增或減. 總之要調到不會沾手就是了)
- 一些鹽
- 1 個塑膠袋
- 將麵粉. 鹽跟水混合
- 放進塑膠袋. 等15分鐘
- 用腳來回踩麵團
- 將麵團壓扁. 變一大片
- 然後切一條一條長條
- 就像一般煮麵法煮麵
好摟…加一顆蛋在麵糊的話. 就是雞蛋麵. 不過要記得. 減水量
Calzone 批薩水餃

Calzone are not as difficult as you may think.
- Pizza dough
- Some pasta sauce
- Mozzarella cheese (grated)
- Thinly sliced mushrooms (You can add anything you would like)
- Chicken (cut into small pieces)
- Fully cook the chicken and mushrooms in a sauce pan and add pasta sauce.
- Flatten the dough and add chicken, mushroom, sauce and cheese in the on one half of the dough. Set aside a little extra cheese.
- Fold the dough over to create a sealed pocket. Bake in oven following the directions for the pizza dough.
- Add the extra cheese on the top of the Calzone for decoration. (Bake for another 5 minutes)
批薩水餃. 很簡單歐
- 一包批薩皮
- 一些義大利麵醬
- 一些起司條
- 蘑菇
- 雞肉 (切小塊)
- 先將雞肉. 謨菇. 加醬在鍋中煮熟
- 將 批薩皮桿平. 加入鍋中的材料
- 將餅皮摺半. 按照批薩皮的烘烤指示烘烤
- 上面可以加一點起司當裝飾 (如加起司. 就再多烤5分鐘)
Pork Rolet 豬排卷

This Pork Rolet was my first attempt at the dish. It turns out it makes your mouth water even before you have a bite. It is worth a try because I know you will love it.
- Thinly sliced Pork (Sprinkle with salt and pepper)
- 2 slices of cheese
- 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 egg (beat)
- Some oil
- Beat the pork with a flat surface until thin.
- Roll the cheese into the middle of the pork
- Coat pork with flour and egg twice.
- Pan fry it in some oil over low heat for about 10 minutes on each side.

- 豬排肉(灑上一些鹽及糊椒)
- 2片起司片
- 1/2杯麵粉
- 1個蛋 (打散)
- 一些油
- 將肉排打到最薄
- 把起司捲在中間
- 一層麵粉. 一層蛋汁. 來回2次. 將肉排包裹起來
- 放入肉油鍋.兩面小火各煎10分鐘. 或等到肉排完全熟後. 就好了
